At the Los Angeles MAX conference that announced the latest version of Flash, an important innovation has been revealed: Flash will be soon compatible for all users! well almost! (Apple does not form part of the Open Screen Project, so it will take eternity to land Flash on iPhone…).
Highly criticized by the resource requirement that Flash need to run correctly, Adobe has made major enhancements to better satisfy its functioning on a maximum of platforms including mobile phones (currently only Flash Lite was running on mobile phones ).
The first public betas should start on Google Android and Symbian (Nokia mobile and others) in early 2010. Release date of Flash 10.1 is unknown for the moment.
